Industrial Engineering Society

Samsun University Industrial Engineering Society (SAMUEMT) was established in November 2021 by Samsun University Industrial Engineering students. The first official event was held on 6 December 2021 with a breakfast organization (For details, see).

Its vision is to play a role in the growth of engineering students into better qualified persons, as well as to encourage them for continuing professional development.

Its mission is to provide a coordination among industrial engineering students at various institutions in Turkey, to assist future industrial engineers in their university life, and to arrange social and educational activities for industrial engineering students.

Planned events;

1. Seminars, panels, and conferences are attended by speakers with experience in the field of Industrial Engineering every month.
2. In order to understand the workings of industry and service organizations, at least one field visit per semester.
3. Hosting regional congresses and conferences by communicating with industrial engineering societies at other universities.
4. Every semester, at least one case study competition will be held in order to help participants advance in their careers.
